As promised, here is our baby announcement! Rye was born one week ago and is a spunky little thing!
Now before you judge me for naming our new baby after a fine whiskey {even if I did that would be bad ass} let me explain the name. His mommas name is River, his aunties name is Raven. So sticking with the “R” is obvious. But we decided River represents water, Raven represents sky or air, and Rye {the grain} represents earth. See? Clever I know. That’s why they pay me the big bucks.
So welcome to your strange new family little dude. On a side note, I really want to teach him to come when I sing “Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I rye, if I don’t get rye whiskey then I think I will die…” {Maybe Corb Lund will put us in a music video}
